CE Hours for Your Profession
The Continuing Professional Education Department at Prairie State College (PSC) offers Continuing Education (CE) credit programs that may be applicable to your professional CE requirements.
What is a CE?
CE is an abbreviation for Continuing Education, a standard unit of measurement, used to quantify continuing adult education and training activities. One CE hour equals one clock hour of attendance.
Approved CE Provider
PSC is an approved provider of continuing education units from:
- Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) to provide CE programs for the following professionals: social workers, licensed professional counselors, speech –language pathologists and real estate agents
- Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) to provide CPDU's (Continuing Professional Development Units) for teachers
- Commission on Case Manager Certification (CCMC) to provide CEU’s to case managers If you need CE’s from another governing body, let us know and we will investigate that organization’s CE provider process.
CE Events are offered for both individual professionals and groups
- Individual Professionals
- Non-credit class participation at either PSC Main Campus / Matteson Area Center
- Online self study
- Group of Professionals
- Seminar or workshop held onsite at your company
- Partner with you to provide CEU seminars for your business clients
- Customized conferences – half day or full day held at PSC or your location
Professional Speakers Bureau
Looking for a presenter to speak to a group of professionals and offer CEU’s ? Prairie State College’s Speakers Bureau can help. Our speakers are experts on a variety of topics and have many years of professional speaking experience. We will work with you to design a program to match your audience’s needs. Presentation lengths range from 1 hour to full day seminars.
